had absolutely no time for photography here in berlin yet. at least i shot this stylish subway entrance tonight on my way to the hotel after the last appointment. straight out of cam, clear jpg mode.
hope, that i'll find more time for real street photography in the heart of berlin tomorrow night.
crested the hinterland
after i crested the gehrenberg tower in the course of an extensive mountain bike ride yesterday evening (can't you see me on the top of the platform?), i'm little short of being on a plane to berlin.
once again i'll be very busy for the next four to five days, whereby having my nex7 with me as always is obligatory, publishing daily shots won't be guaranteed though. if i'll manage to upload photographs, then just directly from the mobile phone. imho during my milan trip in late july this shortened workflow has proved to be successful. since there is no samsung ativ book 9 plus in the stores available yet, i'll highly likely have to rely on the same procedure in my upcoming vacations in portugal. cu, alex

formerly i was completely impatient of cats. now, that i got to know a handful of them very intensively, i'm deeply impressed by their various, but always grateful characters. consequently i'm hardly able to pass a cat without saying hello and establishing physical contact.

finally to complete the set of images from hamburg i'd like to publish matthias' photo, which shows me shooting the last sample of yesterday's posting.

walking with a friend
the urban photographs of the last days have been taken on last saturday in the course of a walk across the fashionable districts next to hamburg's port together with my friend matthias, who had his leica m8 and several, mainly very old vintage lenses in his bag. for me it was the first time, that i came into contact with valuable leica, zeiss and canon glass, that had been built decades before my birthday and which is still working like a charm. his oldest lens was built in 1935!
the images below don't state anything special, but may give you an impression of hamburg's wonderful district altona.
