it's not that i'd suggest that the image above couldn't be made better - the camera was accidentally set to jpg-processing, the framing is anything but perfect and a frozen cyclist that additionally drives more through the center of the image would have been better, too. however i take the sudden appearance of the identically patterned shape as a present and prefer the overall result to the flawless samples of that pretty aquamarine roundabout circle in the suburb of my new home base constance.

every now and then even the remarkably prosperous swiss lose their ways and strand in a bus on the northern side of lake constance. however it's indeed very seldom that these are so absorbed in their newspapers that holding the camera directly next to the face would be possible without being noticed.

the area round lake constance is rich in ornitology. equiped with the right camera and lens you might be able to observe and capture a lot of rare species. besides these special birds the for ages well-known and still beloved duck - the anatidae - is wide-spread and can be seen at almost every corner of the lakeside.

parking position

not only the cars have occupied parking position here; the ferry they are placed on is also eagerly waiting for the arrival of its incoming brother because before that it won't be allowed to set sail.
