so that was it, at least for educational purposes i'll never have the possibility to share time, space and content with my fellow students flo and tobi in berlin again. the last theoretical semester of our further educational study ended and we split up into the different parts of germany again. now it is our duty to on the one hand finalize the masterthesis and secondly keep the relations and connections on-going. one shielding cover will have to be over the three of us. i love u, guys, it has been great two and a half years...
berlin needle
with a height of 368 meters the berlin tv tower is the tallest structure in germany. the in the former gdr raised building has become one of the most prominent symbols of germany and is often playground of films set in berlin. so i thought it might deserve a role in my set as well.
ellipses and crosses
during the last weeks i travelled via zurich airport four times. so i finally found the time to have a deeper look into the architecture of the largest swiss aero-hub.

portion soundness
smoothies seem to be a new trend in the world of healthy beverages. yellow, red and even green; all of the vivid colours are conceivable. these images here were created for tina and my input to a recipe book which will be printed as a wedding present for a good friend of us...
why such uncool stuff? each and every one of us needs a positive intention supporting the new stage of life, at least at the very beginning.
fine 20s lady
some weeks ago we had the chance to attend to a dedicated 20s style party for the first time ever. it was a pretty great experience, all the guests dressed that special and beautiful.
the reason for the party itself was the 30th birthday of a friend of us. today, more than two weeks later tina turns 30. almost unbelievable how fast things go. happy b-day, t!

low range option
summer is coming and therewith the need for an ultra lightweight photo option will probably grow in me again.
last week i followed the samsung galaxy s6 edge announcement with great relish since i don't own a proper smartphone besides my business blackberry. as a result at the moment i always have to take one of my cameras with me, even if the scenario is actually not really appropriate.
the first hands-on results with the s6 available in the internet lead to the initial conclusion that in terms of photographic aspects the new device seems to define new standards for mobile phones: i'm wondering if at least in good conditions the results will meet serious photographic requirements.
i'll report in the following way: either you will see sample shot with the mobile device's camera (sensor size 1/2.6", 16mp, 28mm, f1.9, optical image stabilisation, continuous autofocus) here in the blog or i'll mute about the phone issue from now on.
