last weekend i celebrated my 30th-1 birthday. as already announced, i'm desirous of working with film (for the moment only as a funny compensation to the serious stuff) and almost out of the blue my lovely guests made me a present of a diana mini, toy camera. with its ultra-compact, sturdy design, the 24mm plastic lens and a couple of sensitive films (ISO800-3200) i hope to be prepared for a first full-time job during the rock am ring festival in two weeks, when my nex 7 will be having a good sleep at home. the first test film (kodak 800) is almost exposed, i'm very excited.

the second new camera was an eatable and very delicious one - my ladies baked a lemon cake in the shape of a nex 7 for me. of course i took a picture of this cool, very personal present, but because of the slowness of my new tool i have to learn to wait for the results.
