whereas i'm currently busy all the day long, i only have the possibility to capture the beautiful environment of southern france in the early morning or late in the evening. since i actually prefer to sleep as long as possible in the morning (as everybody of you does probably), only the evenings are left in the basket. doesn't matter, as long as the light and the colours stay that fantastic i'll proceed with portraying the french landscape at dusk.

living in clover
days are long this week. today we were cordially invited to a workmate's place. he, his wife and the two dogs cared lovingly for us. an appetiser, two courses of fish and dessert were served. i've to admit that to a certain extent they really live in clover here, or like people would say in germany: living like god in france.
french countryside din(n)er
france. blue hour, somewhere in the countryside. in search of a venue for dinner we ended up at a arguably typical burger stand what was a completely new area for me: i'd really not expected to find a wheeled fast food restaurant in the middle of nowhere, where moreover for whatever reason a lot of the ordinary restaurants had closed. no idea how they manage to attract ample customers here to keep theirselves above water. all i can say is that the cheeseburgers they sell are delicious. if this is already enough to successfully operate a business i should think about changing the branch.
transparent hub
at one place concentrated, logistic master pieces like frankfurt airport are extremely rare in germany. even rarer these constructs (of any kind) are transparent enough to give you at least a slight glimpse into their true, tremendous complexity. already during the round about 8 to 10 minutes lasting bus drive from the parking position of the plane from friedrichshafen to terminal 1 where our flight to nice departed the airport of frankfurt gave an impressive insight into its hidden processes: a part of the drive was leading through narrow, branched buildings where a lot of busy people did their work.
private boarding
what do you do on days when you still feel sick (since already two weeks now), when you are a bit sad because of a shortened weekend and additionally full of disillusion due to the absolutely misty weather? you go out to get a pizza, afterwards you sit down on the kitchen floor, scoff your fast food dinner and get high on medicinal tea, right?
on the side i reviewed all of the almost 340 pictures i have captured during my project till today, identified round about twenty images per category that are good enough and worth to be featured in my glimpse portfolio and began to publish two to three photographs per gallery. what do you think of the kind of presentation?
on sunday i'll have to leave germany for a business trip to unloved france, fortunately french riviera, what's not so bad after all. despite the fact that the image of today's blogpost was one of my favourite pics from our last trip to the (italian) mediterranean sea in 2012, i'd never shown it before. i wonder if i'll be able to enjoy this view from the day after tomorrow on again.
