in these days of icy winter the underground acts as a welcome escape from the cold. however sooner or later the clear blue frost will outrun everybody, at the latest after it had completely converged to the dark black of the night.

up to yesterday i didn't know that a fridge can be such a social place. during the evening every guest of my mate dominik's great birthday party availed oneself perceived three to four times with beer and other chilled stuff from the refrigerator. if you had set yourself the goal to meet some new people, you simply had to wait at the fridge for the next thirsty person.

love is something beautiful. if anybody hasn't ever felt love in any way that poor soul is definitely missing out on one of the most important things in life: receiving the warmth, feeling to be needed and showing behaviours that defy any explanation are only a few facts how and why love is able to drive you crazy. of course, i'm not talking about usual and simple everyday life situations but these rare, very special moments. although i don't know if the couple of my image is together since a week or a decade their wonderful kiss at sunset reminded me of one key factor for a successful relationship:

it should be everybody's utmost duty to maximise the number of these particular moments.

eh? venice, here at lake constance? not exactly. basically i discover the most beautiful places during aimless walks. although today's image shows just a part of friedrichshafen abbey and not a canal in the world-famous town in italy, in my opinion the scene is pleasing to the eye and worth the image.

after two annoying days of illness i'm finally back to work. fortunately the company area received me with open arms again: a wonderful view over the lake and the alps during the blue hour motivated me for the whole of the day.

it's a good thing to share the flat with a kitty. whenever you are sick, the cat will befriend and care about you, if only by taking a nap on your stomach. although nila isn't resting on my body in the pic above, she basically acts as a great supporter in bringing me back to health.

out of the white these small trees are growing supported by the helping stakes in the middle of the forest. in some places nature needs our affirming devotion, as well as we are sometimes dependent on a refreshment by the pure and clear mother nature.

nila's white socks are only one, obvious display of her overall correctness. posture, expression, sequence of movements: simply everything points to her pride.

currently we are chilled through by the returned winter's cold again. related to the vastness of our lake constance or an unwavering monument at the lakeside humans appear only unimportant and tiny again. additionally the constrained perception of our monochromatic, white surrounding amplifies this effect. that's the way i often look on our world and that hasn't hurt me yet.
