as one might expect particles, light and movement form interesting streaks in the eye of the beholder and of course this circumstance works also in nature.

if in the case of a nightly car drive in a snow storm also the background contains a minimum of texture the drawn winter image should be really expressive.

why not spending a ten minutes wait in walking in the returning, misty winter? understandably late in the evening even tina's will to cook is rather small, but fortunately there are a few snack stands in friedrichshafen where we can fetch something for dinner.

after two annoying days of illness i'm finally back to work. fortunately the company area received me with open arms again: a wonderful view over the lake and the alps during the blue hour motivated me for the whole of the day.

out of the white these small trees are growing supported by the helping stakes in the middle of the forest. in some places nature needs our affirming devotion, as well as we are sometimes dependent on a refreshment by the pure and clear mother nature.

currently we are chilled through by the returned winter's cold again. related to the vastness of our lake constance or an unwavering monument at the lakeside humans appear only unimportant and tiny again. additionally the constrained perception of our monochromatic, white surrounding amplifies this effect. that's the way i often look on our world and that hasn't hurt me yet.

although their names might sound eatable, some natural grown items shouldn't be eaten by humans: there were more than enough beefsteak fungus today in the forest to put me into the hospital, decorated with a bit of snow. maybe some forest animals are chuffed about their crispness, i for one delighted in the nice shapes and structures.

it's so great to have such a highly compact and portable equipment with you every day. the nex7 together with a second lens and my gorilla pod fit into my daily shoulder bag without any problems.

because of that i'm able to react to almost every given scenery at almost all times. so even longer exposures of (small-) townscapes with moving elements do not cause any difficulties for me.

today strong winds were blowing from westerly direction. on the crust of the trees close to the lakeside little snow ridges were banking up.

with today's icy cold the lakeside wasn't a comfortable ambiance.

principally you can escape from wet and cold only temporarily. anytime everybody has to clench his teeth and stand his ground.

both wet and cold are tolerable if they don't appear together at the same moment. currently temperatures are rising a bit so that the pleasant cold with crystal-like snow is turning into a nasty mishmash of medium low temperatures and additionally wet snowfall. hopefully this is only a temporary condition, too.

to tell the truth, i've never felt such an intense christmas spirit before. we have consistent snowfall since almost two weeks now and tina decorated the whole flat already at the end of november with all the lovely stuff that makes for a comfortable surrounding.

on that matter i can understand that even the neighbour cats try to escape the cold and warm up on our heated floor.
